Miami Spice 2026: Everything You Need to Know About the 25th Anniversary Edition
Miami Spice Restaurant Months returns for its 25th anniversary this year, running from August 1 through September 30, 2026. For two months, hundreds of Miami's best restaurants — from South Beach waterfront institutions to Brickell steakhouses and Design District fine dining — offer three-course prix-fixe menus at a fraction of their regular pricing. It's one of the most anticipated culinary events on Miami's calendar, and this year's edition is the biggest yet.
Key Dates
- Starts: August 1, 2026
- Ends: September 30, 2026
- A handful of restaurants extend their menus into the first weekend of October, but this isn't guaranteed — book before the end of September to be safe.
How Miami Spice Works
Each participating restaurant builds a fixed-price, three-course menu — typically an appetizer, entrée, and dessert — at a set price significantly below their standard à la carte pricing. Diners choose one dish from each course. The program is organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and requires participating restaurants to offer a minimum 30% savings compared to regular menu pricing.
2026 Pricing Structure
- Lunch & Brunch: $40
- Dinner: $50 or $65 (restaurant-dependent)
- New this year — Miami Spice Reserve: A premium tier starting at $95 for more elevated, chef-driven experiences at select restaurants
Not Every Restaurant Participates — Here's What's New for 2026
Miami Spice is opt-in, and participation changes year to year. This year's program includes more than 300 restaurants — up from last year's record 387 — with several notable first-time participants:
- Tâm Tâm — Michelin-recognized Vietnamese cuisine
- Maple & Ash — known for its lively atmosphere and indulgent menu
- Grand Public Kitchen & Bar — one of Coconut Grove's most talked-about new openings
- Da Angelino — the first Italian concept from Graspa Group and Ariete Hospitality Group
- The Mexican — refined Northern Mexican cuisine, newly opened in Brickell Key
- Bagatelle Miami River — French cuisine and seafood along the Miami River, $65 dinner menu
- Vilebrequin La Plage — the U.S. debut of the French swimwear brand's Riviera-inspired restaurant, atop UNFRAMED Autograph Collection in Miami Beach, $65 dinner menu
Returning favorites with a strong South Beach and waterfront presence include restaurants across Coconut Grove and the Design District — neighborhoods increasingly known for their concentration of award-winning dining alongside luxury residential demand.
What's New for the 25th Anniversary
- Miami Spice Reserve: A new premium experience tier for diners looking to go beyond the standard prix-fixe format
- Limited-edition collaborations: Miami Spice has partnered with The Tank Brewing Co., Tabañero, and Voodoo Doughnut on exclusive releases to mark the milestone year
- A sustainability spotlight: This year's program highlights restaurants prioritizing local sourcing and food waste reduction
- A philanthropic component: Optional donations made during reservations benefit Camillus House, a local organization supporting Miami's homeless community
Tips for Making the Most of Miami Spice
- Book early. Weekend tables at popular restaurants fill up almost immediately once the program opens.
- Consider lunch or brunch. It's often the easiest way to experience a sought-after restaurant without the dinner rush — and a good fit for a lighter, more relaxed outing.
- Pick a neighborhood, not just a restaurant. Since the program runs across Greater Miami and Miami Beach, choosing restaurants within the same area makes for a smoother, more enjoyable evening.
- Read the actual prix-fixe menu before booking.Value varies significantly by restaurant — some offer close to their full menu, others a more limited selection.
